About the role
This permanent, full‑time position starts in September 2026 at a well‑regarded primary school in Accrington. The Class Teacher will have a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) tailored to personal strengths and will work towards future leadership roles.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across KS1 or KS2, as agreed.
- Lead agreed whole‑school initiatives to raise overall standards.
- Take ownership of TLR duties, contributing to curriculum development and pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive, high‑expectation team culture.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven impact as a classroom practitioner.
- Ambitious, reflective and ready to develop leadership skills.
- Passion for improving pupil outcomes.
