Classroom Teacher – Fixed‑Term (Key Stage 2)

About the role

Gillingham Primary School is seeking a passionate Classroom Teacher to join its Key Stage 2 team. This fixed‑term role offers the chance to inspire pupils, deliver high‑quality learning experiences, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enthusiasm for nurturing every child’s potential.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
