Cleaner – Bolam Lake Country Park

About the role

Northumberland County Council is looking for a part‑time Cleaner to join its Facilities Management team at Bolam Lake Country Park. The role is permanent and involves maintaining the park’s cleanliness and ensuring visitor facilities are ready each day.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out basic cleaning duties across the park.
• Open the automated site barriers each morning to allow vehicle access.
• Open and maintain public toilets after cleaning to keep them operational for visitors.
• Occasionally provide overtime support in the on‑site café under a separate agreement.

Required profile

• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, 07:30‑09:35 (12.5 hours per week).
• Ability to follow training and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Reliability and punctuality for opening barriers and facilities each morning.
