Cleaner – One Leisure (St Ives)

About the role

Join the One Leisure team at Burgess Hall in St Ives as a Cleaner. You will ensure the centre remains clean, safe and welcoming for visitors, schools, clubs and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks to prescribed standards across the facility.
• Follow site‑specific cleaning schedules and use cleaning equipment safely.
• Work around facility usage to minimise disruption to customers.
• Report operational issues, damage, vandalism or health‑and‑safety concerns to Duty Managers.
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers.

Required profile

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience with routine, deep and heavy cleaning tasks.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and unsocial hours for post‑event cleans.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
