Cleaner (Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to join our team on a part‑time basis at our Bridgwater office. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness at Connaught House and Winsor House, with flexible start times to suit the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across designated homes, halls and accommodation areas.
• Handle manual tasks such as rubbish and recycling removal, vacuuming, dusting, and floor care.
• Clean kitchen areas and toilets to a high standard.
• Report any damage, repairs or equipment issues to the Cleaning Supervisor promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, staff and visitors while maintaining a polite and helpful manner.

Required profile

• Commitment to health, safety, equality and diversity policies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cleaning team.
• Professional attitude with respect for council assets and tenant privacy.
• Flexibility to work the scheduled hours (4 h on Monday and Friday, 3 h on Wednesday).
