Clearance & Cleaning Operative – South West (Gloucester)

About the role

We are seeking a Clearance and Cleaning Operative to join our South West team, supporting the rapid turnaround of empty homes in Gloucester and surrounding areas. The role involves a mix of cleaning, clearance, damp and mould treatment and general maintenance to ensure homes are safe, warm and ready for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean vacant properties, both interior and exterior.
• Carry out damp and mould remediation, including product application and treatment.
• Perform basic ground maintenance and install or repair flooring coverings.
• Record work performed, follow health and safety procedures and meet turnaround targets.
• Travel to multiple customer locations across the South West, adhering to schedules.

Required profile

• Experience in property clearance, cleaning and basic ground maintenance.
• Knowledge of mould treatment and flooring work.
• Ability to work methodically, meet targets and record information accurately.
• Self‑motivated with good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Full manual UK driving licence and residence near Gloucester.
• Eligibility for a basic DBS check (paid by employer).
