Client Account Manager – NHS Supply Chain (Food)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Client Account Manager to join the NHS Supply Chain Food team. In this high‑impact, client‑facing position you will partner with NHS Trusts to deliver value, generate savings and grow managed spend across your portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS stakeholders to drive growth and savings.
• Identify commercial opportunities through analysis of spend, purchasing trends and risk.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of activity to meet KPIs and targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver service improvements and meet client needs.
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting and communication of account activity.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and achieving targets.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management skills.
• Confident communicator with strong influencing capability.
• Highly organised, proactive and solutions‑focused.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: background in food, hospitality or FMCG and experience in procurement or managed‑service environments.
