About the role

Join the Client Data & Engineering Group for a 10‑week summer internship in 2027, working on real data, analytics and AI projects that support the Investment Bank. You will receive mentorship, develop technical and commercial skills, and gain insight into how data drives decisions across financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Banking, Markets and Technology teams to generate data‑driven insights.
• Analyse client, business and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, visualisations, reports and analytical tools.
• Contribute to the design, testing and implementation of AI‑enabled solutions.
• Manage data quality, consistency and governance standards.
• Support the development of data platforms and analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year university student from any academic background with an interest in data, analytics and financial markets.
• Enjoy working with data, demonstrate structured thinking and analytical capability.
• Curious about financial markets, communicate clearly and work well in teams.
• Adaptable, proactive and keen to learn; experience with data analysis, programming or AI/ML concepts is beneficial but not required.
