Client Director – Ferndown (OTE up to £45,000)

About the role

This permanent, office‑based position is with a well‑established accounting firm that supports contractors, freelancers and SMEs. The Client Director will lead a portfolio of clients, ensuring high‑quality service and helping the practice grow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high‑quality service.
• Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Support, supervise and train junior staff.
• Attend new client meetings and prepare quotations.
• Allocate workloads and monitor internal service level agreements.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and accounts.

Required profile

• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification (part or full).
• Minimum three years’ practice experience.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance.
• Confident communicator with excellent client‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage a small team.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
