About the role
We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of client relationships within a leading accountancy practice in Cheltenham. As the Client Manager you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of businesses, delivering high‑quality service and strategic advice to help them grow.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Review accounts, tax returns and other compliance work.
- Provide business and tax advice to support client growth.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Identify opportunities for added‑value services.
- Ensure deadlines are met and compliance requirements are fulfilled.
Required profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in general practice or client management.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
