Client Manager (fully remote)

About the role

Are you a practice‑trained accountant looking for more than year‑end accounts and compliance work? Join an innovative, CFO‑led accounting and advisory firm where you will work directly with experienced CFOs, gain exposure to commercial projects typically reserved for senior finance professionals, and help ambitious business owners make better decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of growing SME clients as their primary point of contact.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners and leadership teams.
• Review work prepared by an offshore team and ensure the highest quality standards.
• Deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts and business performance reports.
• Guide clients through their financial results and provide commercial insight.
• Support CFOs on strategic projects including forecasting, fundraising and exit planning.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or approaching qualification.
• Experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Confident in managing client relationships and discussing financial information with business owners.
• Strong in management accounting, month‑end reporting and forecasting.
• Familiar with cloud accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks Online.
• Desire to move beyond compliance‑focused work into a commercial and advisory‑led role.
