Client Service Specialist

About the role

This position is with a leading independent financial services provider in London. The Client Service Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for a range of banking and investment transactions, delivering high‑quality service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process client transactions such as stock trades, foreign exchange, loans and deposits.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day liaison for client banking needs and administrative requests.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues and troubleshoot client queries promptly.
• Execute account maintenance activities, including opening, closure, suitability assessments, KYC reviews and due‑diligence checks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve client concerns.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while delivering a high standard of service.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships to enhance the overall client experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in financial services, preferably in a client‑facing or commercial role.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Strong understanding of banking, brokerage, custody, investment, deposit and credit products.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent relationship management and communication abilities.
• Collaborative team player with sound judgment, initiative and professionalism.
