Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) – Luxury Care Home

About the role

The Clinical Deputy Manager will partner closely with the Home Manager to drive clinical excellence and regulatory compliance in a private luxury care home for up to 65 residents. This senior leadership position provides hands‑on oversight of nursing and care teams, ensuring safe, person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance, care planning, medication management and risk processes.
• Monitor performance, conduct audits, support inspections and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide visible leadership, mentoring and development for nursing and care staff.
• Act as deputy to the Home Manager, overseeing day‑to‑day operations in their absence.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a care‑home setting.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Experience in clinical governance, audits and compliance.

Required skills

What we offer

• £62,000 per annum on a 40‑hour contract.
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform and NMC fees.
