Clinical Lead – Senior Nursing Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join the senior management team of a well‑established nursing, residential and dementia care home in Southampton. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership to ensure residents receive outstanding, person‑centred care while driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing teams across the service, promoting best practice and high standards of care.
• Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver holistic, person‑centred care for residents.
• Provide clinical mentorship, training and development for staff.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Recent experience as a Clinical Lead within an elderly care setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing, residential and dementia care.
• Proven ability to lead clinical teams and maintain high standards of care and compliance.
