Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Liverpool (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established multi‑office law firm in the North West, is looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their Liverpool team. This hybrid role offers the chance to manage high‑value claimant matters within a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injury and high‑value matters.
• Take full ownership of cases from inception through to resolution, drafting detailed legal documentation.
• Attend mediations, settlement meetings, court hearings and conferences with counsel.
• Build strong relationships with clients, experts and key stakeholders.
• Monitor deadlines, risks and case progression, supporting team performance and process improvements.
• Contribute to business development and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in clinical negligence.
• Proven ability to handle high‑value, complex claimant matters independently.
• Solid litigation experience, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
• Highly organised with strong case management skills.
• Empathetic and professional when dealing with sensitive matters.
