Clinical Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care (Edgware & Finchley)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care and Walk‑in Services at Edgware Community Hospital and Finchley Memorial Hospital. You will work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care to a diverse caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based assessment, diagnosis and management for patients with injuries and undifferentiated health problems.
• Utilise expert diagnostic skills and clinical reasoning to treat acute, minor, and occasionally complex conditions.
• Collaborate with emergency services, doctors, trainee ACPs, and other health‑care professionals to maintain and improve standards of care.
• Support operational management and service development alongside senior staff.
• Cover shifts within the 8 am‑8 pm operating window and provide occasional cross‑cover to other walk‑in centres.

Required profile

• Qualified Clinical Nurse Practitioner with experience in urgent or walk‑in care.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while being fully supported by a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence‑based practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
