Clinical Pharmacist – Evenings & Weekends

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team on a hybrid basis. You will work 2‑3 days per week, including evenings and weekends, at our Kings Cross office, with the remaining days remote. The role focuses on prescribing and reviewing cannabis‑based medicines for patients with complex conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification.
• At least 2 years of prescribing experience.
• Experience working in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to undergo specialised training in cannabis‑based medicines (knowledge of CBPM is a plus).
• Clear communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Proactive, resourceful problem‑solver.
• Well‑organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage complex workflows.
