Clinical Research Nurse – Mobile Unit (BEST4 Study)

About the role

Join a pioneering clinical trial focused on early detection of oesophageal cancer. As a Clinical Research Nurse you will manage patient clinics on the BEST4 mobile unit, administer the innovative Capsule Sponge test, and support participants throughout their study journey.

Key responsibilities

• Run the BEST4 mobile unit clinic, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Explain study details, obtain informed consent, and perform the Capsule Sponge test.
• Collect samples, enter data accurately, and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Provide clinical care during visits, including emergency procedures such as bleeding control and resuscitation.
• Coordinate appointments with the clinic coordinator and liaise with research teams at QMUL, Cambridge, and EMS.

Required profile

• Motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible individual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites and manage a caseload of participants.
