Clinical Support Worker - Children's Complex Care

About the role

NHS Forth Valley is recruiting a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker for its Children's Complex Care Team. The post covers a variety of shift patterns within a team of Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses, providing care for highly dependent children in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide care for highly dependent children in their own homes
• Work as part of a team of Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses across different shift patterns
• Travel throughout the area of service delivery

Required profile

• Caring disposition, good communication and interpersonal skills, patience, flexibility and reliability
• Ability to respect client confidentiality
• Previous experience in a similar role, in a community setting and with highly dependent children, is advantageous
• Willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential
• Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme

Required skills

• SVQ in Health and Social Care at level 3 is desirable but not essential, as all relevant training will be provided
