About the role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner/Programmer to join a well‑established engineering company in Abingdon. The role is permanent, days‑based (Monday‑Friday) and offers a competitive salary with regular overtime.
Key responsibilities
- Program, set up and operate CNC turning machines.
- Produce precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner with programming capability.
- Ability to programme, set and operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently.
- Desire for a stable, long‑term position with overtime opportunities.
