Commercial Account Handler – Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join a fast‑growing insurance broker network in Guildford. You will work with existing commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met while supporting the team’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with existing customers and ensure their insurance requirements are met in line with service levels.
• Collaborate with the construction division manager to prepare forecasts, targets, plans and budgets for your area.
• Work closely with Account Executives and other Account Handlers to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements and modifications promptly for commercial insurance accounts.
• Negotiate with top insurance providers to secure competitive pricing and favourable policy terms for commercial clients.

Required profile

• Insurance experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience with the Acturis system is highly advantageous.
• Strong organisational ability and self‑management.
• Excellent telephone, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, underwriters and internal teams.
