Commercial Contracts Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our Property Services Commercial Team. You will drive commercial excellence by managing high‑value, strategic contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring performance, risk mitigation and smooth transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Property Services contracting database.
• Monitor implementation of all live contracts across Property Services.
• Manage and communicate contract changes, extensions and innovations.
• Coordinate contractual documentation sign‑off with the Procurement Team.
• Provide commercial advice and liaise with external legal counsel when required.
• Oversee payment assessments, supplier performance and conduct supplier audits.
• Ensure adherence to contract KPIs and deliver regular performance feedback.
• Represent the commercial team at monthly review meetings with strategic contractors.
• Work with finance, health & safety and procurement to ensure compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Act as the central contact for operational portfolio leads on commercial issues.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Proven experience in contract compilation, design and legal framework development.
• Track record of implementing contract change control processes.
• Extensive experience managing contract lifecycles within a supply chain.
• Significant background in commercial contracting and subcontracting.
• Ability to plan, track and forecast income and expenditure against budgets.
