Commercial Insurance Account Handler – Fast‑Track to Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Commercial Insurance Account Handler who wants to accelerate their career towards an Account Executive position. This fast‑track role blends technical account management with proactive client engagement, offering exposure to a broad range of commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, handling renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business enquiries.
• Develop and grow client relationships through telephone, Microsoft Teams and face‑to‑face meetings at client sites.
• Collaborate with Account Directors on complex market placements and high‑value client servicing.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and support basic claims queries.
• Build long‑term partnerships across sectors such as construction, property, hospitality, retail and manufacturing.

Required profile

• Proven experience within commercial insurance, preferably in a brokerage environment.
• Strong, client‑focused communication style with a corporate mindset.
• Excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail and a service‑driven work ethic.
• Progress towards CII certification and familiarity with the Acturis platform are highly advantageous.
