Commercial Lawyer – Consultant

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national network as self‑employed consultants. The position offers full flexibility to work remotely or from the office, with a fee‑split model that rewards revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own commercial law caseload with confidence.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice to professional and business clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate ongoing business.
• Meet billing targets of at least £100,000 per annum.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to handle a full client portfolio independently.
• Existing client base capable of delivering the minimum billing requirement.
• Commitment to the firm’s values of integrity, expertise, and tenacity.
