About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national network as self‑employed consultants. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office, with earnings based on a 70‑85% fee split tied to revenue generated.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of commercial law matters from inception to resolution.
• Provide expert legal advice to business clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Set and achieve personal financial targets, aiming for at least £100,000 annual billing.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to independently manage a high‑value client portfolio.
• Track record of generating at least £100,000 in annual revenue.
• Desire for autonomy and flexibility in work arrangements.
