Commercial Lawyer – Senior Solicitor (Consultant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join Richard Nelson LLP as a self‑employed consultant. The role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Plymouth while focusing on high‑value commercial matters for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert commercial legal advice and representation to corporate clients.
• Manage a personal caseload, ensuring timely delivery of services and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to generate revenue.
• Prepare and review contracts, commercial agreements, and dispute resolutions.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Minimum billing history of £100,000 per annum.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.
• Strong commercial acumen and commitment to high‑quality client care.
