Commercial Legal Counsel (2–4 PQE) – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a leading global technology company’s EMEIA legal team in London. This 12‑month hybrid role offers the chance to work on high‑value commercial matters, support sales operations, and help shape AI‑driven legal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Advise sales and operational teams on a broad range of commercial legal issues.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements covering sales, distribution, marketing and after‑sales services.
• Provide practical, solutions‑focused legal advice to multiple business stakeholders.
• Manage legal support for 2–3 business groups, increasing autonomy over time.
• Build strong internal relationships to drive commercial outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and testing of in‑house AI legal tools, improving contract review accuracy.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 2–4 years PQE (up to 6 years considered).
• Training from a respected regional, national or City law firm.
• Strong commercial contracts experience from private practice and/or in‑house.
• Technology‑sector experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with confidence to work independently.
