Commercial Litigation Paralegal – Partner Support Role

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to work directly with a senior Commercial Litigation Partner in Stockport. This position offers hands‑on experience with high‑value, complex commercial disputes and immediate client exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Partner on a wide range of contentious matters, including contract, shareholder, partnership and professional negligence disputes.
• Draft high‑quality legal documents such as witness statements, court applications, bundles and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, prepare case summaries and support disclosure and trial preparation.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and third parties, and attend client meetings, mediations and court hearings as required.
• Manage your own workload while supporting technically challenging litigation matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation or Dispute Resolution.
• Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach and genuine interest in a long‑term litigation career.

Required skills

• Experience using case management systems and litigation software.
