Commercial Manager - Wholesale, Cash & Carry

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead the wholesale and cash‑and‑carry business for the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands. Working hybrid from Leeds, you will develop profitable growth plans, using category and consumer insight to influence retailers and delight shoppers at the point of purchase.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage joint business plans with wholesale and cash‑and‑carry customers.
• Adapt business approach for key accounts such as Eden Farm, Bestway and Parfetts.
• Monitor portfolio performance using the company tool‑kit and feed insights to category, marketing and finance teams.
• Manage product mix in line with brand and category guidelines.
• Update sales and gross profit forecasts.
• Implement full customer contact strategies and align internal contacts with customer counterparts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG sales or account management, preferably within wholesale or cash‑and‑carry.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility and ability to build customer business plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and drive business growth through relationships.
• Understanding of teamwork and promotion of high‑performing behaviours.
