Commercial Manager – Windows Division

About the role

Portico GB Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function of its Windows Division. Based in Woolpit, Suffolk, you will own key client relationships, drive new business and oversee estimating, order processing and technical support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing house‑builder clients.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Lead, manage and develop the estimating team to deliver accurate tenders on time.
• Oversee order processing to ensure smooth transition from tender award to live contract.
• Manage the technical team to ensure product specifications meet client requirements and regulations.
• Own pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and margin performance for the windows division.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director and operational teams to support growth objectives.
• Monitor market trends and sales pipelines to identify future opportunities.
• Represent the business at client meetings, site visits and industry events.
• Support continuous improvement of commercial processes and team performance.

Required profile

• Proven commercial, sales or business development experience within the windows, doors, glazing or wider construction products sector.
• Experience managing key customer relationships, preferably with residential house builders.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering commercially successful projects.
