Commercial Property Lawyer – Hybrid, Stroud

About the role

Our client, a well‑established law firm in Gloucestershire, is looking for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their growing team. The role is hybrid, based in Stroud, and offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of property transactions while contributing to a strategic growth area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals and leases.
• Advise landlords and tenants on complex agreements and landlord‑tenant law.
• Provide clear, commercially‑focused advice in plain English.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development, networking and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high‑quality legal services.

Required profile

• At least 2 years post‑qualification experience as a Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with practice rights.
• Strong experience in commercial property transactions and solid knowledge of landlord‑tenant law.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Commercially aware and team‑focused approach.
