Commercial Property Lawyer (NQ – 2 PQE) – Devon

About the role

A well‑regarded law firm in Devon is seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join its friendly, collaborative team. The role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor or legal executive with up to two years post‑qualification experience in commercial property, offering a supportive environment to develop expertise and gradually build a personal caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on a broad range of commercial property transactions.
• Draft and negotiate leases, transfers and related legal documentation.
• Support acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant matters.
• Conduct title reviews and perform Land Registry work.
• Progressively manage your own caseload with ongoing guidance.
• Potential exposure to residential property work as part of the wider team.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor, legal executive, or up to 2 years PQE.
• Previous experience in commercial property law.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, proactive and solution‑focused approach.
• Eagerness to learn, develop and progress within commercial property.
