Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ‑5 PQE) – Hybrid

About the role

This hybrid position is based in Essex and offers a commercial property solicitor the chance to join a regional firm with a strong reputation and a growing caseload. The role is suitable for a newly qualified solicitor (NQ‑5 PQE) looking to develop expertise across both commercial and residential property matters.

Key responsibilities

• Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
• Commercial leases and occupier matters, including grants, surrenders, assignments and LTA 54 renewals
• Granting easements, options and overage arrangements
• Property finance work such as debentures and charges
• Handling commercial and residential development sites – conditional sale agreements, site assembly, ransom strips, options, sub‑station leases, JV and promotion agreements
• Advising landowners on sales to developers and understanding developer requirements

Required profile

• Experience gained in a highly respected law firm
• Familiarity with the property matters listed above
• Qualified solicitor with NQ‑5 PQE status
• Strong analytical and client‑focused approach
