Commercial Sales Manager – Food Procurement

About the role

The Commercial Sales Manager will drive commercial growth for Foodbuy’s hospitality portfolio, working across Food, Retail and SES categories. You will combine procurement expertise with sales acumen to deliver measurable value for clients and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations and contract implementation.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies that generate value for clients and Foodbuy.
• Build trusted client relationships through insight‑led reviews and value‑focused recommendations.
• Activate commercial programmes that maximise income and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Retention, Marketing, Finance, Product, Culinary and Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Analyse data and market insights to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Track and report commercial performance against targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial sales, procurement, category management or strategic sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management background.
• Track record of meeting revenue and profitability targets.
• Advanced analytical capability.
