Commercial Solicitor (4+ PQE) – Hybrid – £65‑85k

About the role

Our client, a leading Legal 500 law firm, is looking for an ambitious Commercial Solicitor with at least four years of post‑qualification experience. The role is based in Maidenhead and offers hybrid working, allowing you to balance office collaboration with flexible remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply, distribution, agency, IT, software and SaaS agreements.
• Provide advice on licensing, intellectual property, data protection and outsourcing arrangements.
• Support start‑ups with business structures, investment and commercial strategy.
• Assist charities with governance, regulatory compliance and commercial issues.
• Guide SMEs and owner‑managed businesses on day‑to‑day commercial legal matters.
• Work with multinational organisations on UK commercial law and cross‑border transactions.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in Commercial Law.
• Proven experience advising on a broad spectrum of commercial contracts.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Interest in business development and networking.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
