Communications Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Communications Business Partner to join a leading not‑for‑profit housing provider on a two‑month interim basis. The role is hands‑on, requiring rapid relationship building, delivery of impactful communications and day‑to‑day management of SharePoint content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications plans that align with business priorities.
• Create engaging content for intranet, newsletters, email campaigns, websites and social media.
• Maintain and update SharePoint sites to ensure accuracy, accessibility and user engagement.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to capture communication requirements.
• Support employee engagement, organisational change and business transformation programmes through effective communications.
• Write, edit and proof‑read a wide range of communications materials.
• Provide communications advice to managers and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor the effectiveness of communications activities and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Communications Business Partner, Communications Officer, Internal Communications or similar role.
• Strong experience managing and updating SharePoint content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create content across multiple channels.
• Effective stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with the capacity to support all areas of a communications function.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Previous experience in housing, public sector or regulated environments is advantageous.
• Availability to start immediately.
