Communications & Content Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and creative Communications & Content Lead to shape and deliver our external communications strategy following a major rebrand. The role will help build awareness, visibility and authority for the business across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, purpose‑driven content for diverse audiences, including case studies, press releases, blogs, website copy, social media posts and email communications.
• Interview internal experts, operational teams and customers to uncover compelling stories and develop thought‑leadership pieces.
• Create and maintain press release templates for incident and crisis scenarios.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade journalists and industry publications to secure coverage.
• Manage the creation, approval and distribution of press releases, media statements and external communications.
• Support senior leaders in developing spokesperson profiles and securing speaking opportunities.
• Own and grow the company’s social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, and extend content across digital platforms.

Required profile

• Proactive, creative and able to work independently.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Salary of £45,000 per year plus benefits.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
• Flexibility to work across Ascot, Farringdon or CO6 (Essex).
