Communications Coordinator – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are a leading human rights organisation that leverages technology to support accountability and international justice. We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to create and manage engaging content across digital and print platforms, helping our partners document and communicate human rights violations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging written content for website articles, social media, newsletters and press releases.
• Manage and grow social media channels, delivering timely and impactful posts.
• Support media engagement, respond to enquiries and coordinate press activity.
• Ensure consistency of tone, style and messaging across all communications.
• Create outreach materials for international partners and stakeholders.
• Produce briefing documents and impact materials in creative, accessible formats.
• Develop internal communications guidelines and support effective content workflows.
• Provide communications support to colleagues across the organisation as required.

Required profile

• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly.
• Experience creating and managing content across digital platforms, including websites and social media.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure communications are accurate, balanced and aligned with organisational values.
• Experience developing communications strategies and delivering campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently.
• A collaborative, proactive approach with confidence to work across teams.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in communications, journalism, public relations, international relations, law or a related discipline (desirable).
• Experience in human rights, international justice, civil society or not‑for‑profit organisations (advantageous).
