Communications Coordinator

About the role
Join one of Scotland's most iconic sporting venues as a Communications Coordinator. You will craft and deliver the stories that matter to fans, media and communities across a busy calendar of events and competitions.
Key responsibilities
- Run media operations at major events, including accreditation and event communications for fixtures at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
- Use creative storytelling to spotlight communities and competitions, delivering proactive media events and handling reactive enquiries.
- Drive PR and media coverage across the competition calendar, supporting match coverage plans for the Arnold Clark Men’s and Women’s Premiership.
- Generate content opportunities throughout the season and ensure alignment with the annual Rugby Development communications plan.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to keep all activity aligned with strategic communications objectives.
Required profile
- Media‑savvy with experience building press relationships across multiple channels.
- Live‑events experience and the ability to keep operations running smoothly under pressure.
- Proven ability to source and shape compelling content that drives exposure.
- Strong pride in delivering high‑quality output.
- Organised, adaptable and capable of managing projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
