Communications & Engagement Manager

About the role

The Pret Foundation is seeking an ambitious, purpose‑driven Communications & Engagement Manager to lead the launch of its new strategy. You will shape the Foundation’s internal and external profile, creating compelling narratives that raise awareness and inspire action.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan to support the launch of the Foundation’s strategy, producing materials for internal and external audiences.
• Design and roll out a content strategy across digital, social, and traditional channels in partnership with Pret Marketing and external agencies.
• Identify, capture, and produce high‑quality beneficiary stories that showcase programme outcomes and impact.
• Collaborate with the Pret Market team to integrate the Foundation into brand and customer marketing, creating customer‑facing content that drives participation.
• Build internal awareness of the Foundation’s purpose, designing campaigns and events that motivate employee fundraising and involvement.
• Set and manage budgets in line with organisational timelines, working closely with the Finance Manager.
• Define, track, and analyse key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and campaigns, using insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Ambitious and purpose‑driven professional with experience in communications, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver multi‑channel content strategies.
• Strong project‑management skills, including budget oversight and metric‑driven evaluation.
