Communications Officer – Regional & Corporate Communications

About the role

As a Communications Officer at Peabody, you will create and deliver integrated communications plans for the North East and South London regions while supporting corporate and portfolio‑wide initiatives. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to produce engaging content for residents, customers and wider audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication plans for regeneration projects, new developments and community engagement events.
• Identify newsworthy stories and produce written, photographic and video content for multiple channels.
• Draft resident and customer communications such as letters, newsletters, web articles and social media posts.
• Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to adapt national campaign material to local audiences.
• Contribute to publications including the resident magazine and annual reports.
• Support Communications Business Partners with monitoring and evaluation activities.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities, comfortable working with all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to tailor style for different audiences.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
