Community Staff Nurse – 30 hrs/week, Farnborough

About the role

The Farnborough Community Nursing team is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to deliver high‑standard nursing care in patients' homes. The position is 30 hours per week and includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rated basis. Newly qualified nurses graduating in September 2026 are welcome and will receive full pre‑ceptorship and clinical up‑skilling support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration and medication/injection delivery.
• Manage diabetes care and conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop, implement and review personalised care programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Offer advice to patients, service users and carers regarding their care.
• Plan and deliver health‑improvement programmes across community settings.
• Supervise, mentor and provide clinical support to students and junior staff.

Required profile

• Dynamic, motivated individual with a commitment to person‑centred care.
• Ability to work evenings (until 8 pm), weekends and bank holidays.
• Access to a car and a valid driver’s licence; mileage reimbursable.
• Registered Nurse, either newly qualified (Sept 2026) or experienced.
