The Partnership is looking for a data-focused Compliance Assurance Analyst to join its 2LoD Compliance Monitoring team in the Financial Services division, based at the London head office in Pimlico. The role delivers an always-on, risk-based assurance programme, using management information, data analytics and reporting dashboards to give independent oversight of regulatory compliance, conduct risk and operational controls, with a primary focus on FCA Consumer Duty requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct continuous assurance monitoring, risk-based reviews and root cause analysis using complex datasets to identify trends and mitigate potential customer harm.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated dashboards tracking compliance metrics and key risk indicators, and present clear findings to first-line teams.
- Support management reporting, turning findings into insights that support first-line remediation via governance committees.
- Maintain data quality standards across assurance reporting, reconciling data sources and investigating discrepancies.
- Use data trends to identify inefficiencies and improve oversight processes and assurance techniques.
- Take part in subject matter and technical training to grow analytical capabilities.
Required profile
- Strong background in management information and data analysis in a regulated financial services environment, able to explain complex data clearly to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to break down complex datasets, find root causes and propose recommendations and management actions.
- Data-driven curiosity, attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Experience designing and building reporting dashboards with Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.
- Desirable: knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks and conduct standards; familiarity with SQL, speech analytics or workflow systems.
What we offer
- Expected salary up to £50K, advertised as £41,300 to £61,900 annual; night premium of £4.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00.
- Fixed-term 6-month contract (external) or secondment (internal); hybrid working, with one day a week in the office and ad-hoc attendance at key meetings.
- Benefits including up to £200 towards courses, partner discounts at John Lewis and Waitrose, holiday and leave, pension and life assurance.
