Financial Institution Cash Sales Manager

About the role

Barclays is looking for a Financial Institution Cash Sales Manager in London to drive revenue growth within Payments & Liquidity products. You will develop and execute a cash management sales strategy for banks and financial institution clients, identify new business, deepen existing relationships and position Barclays' payments, liquidity and transaction banking solutions as the preferred provider.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with banks and financial institution clients within the Financial Institution Group.
• Originate new cash management, payments, clearing and liquidity opportunities to meet revenue targets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across domestic and international cash management products.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, RFP responses and commercial negotiations.
• Partner with Product, Coverage, Onboarding and Service teams to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and emerging client requirements in the financial institutions sector.
• Promote Barclays' payment, clearing, liquidity and treasury solutions across global markets.
• Ensure all activity complies with regulatory, risk and control requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cash management, payments or transaction banking sales, covering the Banks and Financial Institution sector.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow client revenues.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Desirable: experience with insurance clients, multijurisdictional or international client coverage, and knowledge of payments, cash management, deposits and liquidity, clearing and settlement services.

Required skills

• Good market knowledge of correspondent banking services.
• Understanding of correspondent banking, global payments, treasury clearing, liquidity and treasury solutions.
• Desirable: understanding of digital payments, APIs and emerging payment technologies.
