Compliance Officer

About the role

We are partnering with an established company in Southampton to hire a Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will ensure the business meets and maintains BRC Food Safety and ISO standards, supporting a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Plan, conduct and manage both internal and external audits.
• Develop, update and control documentation, policies and procedures in line with best practice.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to address findings and ensure ongoing certification.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a compliance role within food production or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of BRC standards and ISO frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits and certification processes.
• Desirable: Lead Auditor qualification (ISO or BRC).
