Compliance Officer

About the role

The Compliance Officer will support the Vice President and the wider management team in strengthening corporate governance and regulatory compliance across a global consumer electronics manufacturer. Based in Leeds, you will act as the central hub linking the business, Group Compliance, and external legal advisers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate statutory filings and ensure adherence to UK legislation.
• Support training programmes on compliance topics.
• Liaise with Group Compliance and external legal advisers.
• Assist the management team with regulatory reporting and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Compliance Officer or in legal/compliance support.
• Familiarity with UK data protection, competition law, and corporate governance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset across diverse teams and cultures.
