Compounder – Manufacturing Production Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Compounder to join a busy manufacturing business in Newhaven. You will work within the production team to accurately create finished products while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh and measure ingredients according to precise formulations.
• Calculate weights, quantities and percentages required for each batch.
• Carry out compounding and blending tasks to produce final products.
• Operate and monitor production machinery where needed.
• Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process and record results.
• Identify and report any quality issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe factory environment, including safe spill clean‑up.
• Operate forklifts and vacuum lifting equipment after training.
• Support the wider production team as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory settings is advantageous.
• Strong numerical ability and confidence working with weights, measurements and percentages.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit for manual duties throughout the shift.
• Positive attitude, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
