Construction Field Project Manager

About the role

Strescon Limited is seeking a Construction Field Project Manager to lead on‑site projects across the Maritimes. You will act as the primary liaison between the office and field teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant communication with field crews to assess progress and resolve issues.
• Create erection sequences, load lists, and coordinate shipping with project coordinators and subcontractors.
• Generate daily field work reports and variance reports as required.
• Coordinate equipment needs (crane, man‑lift, boom truck), develop crane plans, and procure necessary resources.
• Review budgets and job cost reports to ensure proper cost allocation.
• Ensure completion of internal safety, erection, and testing paperwork.
• Schedule on‑site activities, manage material procurement for the erection crew, and communicate requirements to customers and internal departments.
• Visit job sites in the Maritimes to evaluate progress and support the project management team as directed.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in engineering or a technical field is an asset.
• Ability to spend extended periods in the field and thrive in a fast‑changing environment.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.
