Construction Manager

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of the Anglian Water infrastructure programme in the East of England. You will be responsible for overseeing civil works and water treatment facilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site teams across multiple projects, managing health and safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Hold tier‑2 suppliers accountable for safety, quality and schedule, reviewing and approving RAMS.
• Drive constructability, conduct project rehearsals and sign‑off fit‑for‑assembly to improve performance.
• Promote zero‑waste, low‑carbon construction practices and a strong safety culture.
• Plan labour, plant and material resources and escalate contractual or commercial issues promptly.

Required profile

• HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proven experience managing operational resources on fast‑paced projects, preferably in the water or water‑recycling sector.
• SMSTS and SEATS training with a Black CSCS Card.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
