Construction Project Manager

About the role
Reds10 is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of MOD projects from mobilisation through to handover. Based primarily on site in Portsmouth, you will work closely with design, commercial, production and site‑operations teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of construction projects, coordinating mobilisation, construction and handover phases.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams and external subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to meet programme milestones.
- Manage project budgets, cost control and programme performance to achieve commercially successful outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, handle change control and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate project reporting, records and communication with all stakeholders.
- Support sustainability objectives, including carbon reduction and social value targets.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing construction projects on‑site from start to completion.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- CSCS Card (essential) and SMSTS Qualification (essential).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site operations and delivery processes.
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline (desirable) and membership of a professional body such as APM, CIOB or RICS (desirable).
